Very Good Silver Mounted Burmese Dah Sword
Origin: Mianmar (Burma)
Date: Early 20C.







Classical Burmese Dah Sword with slightly curved blade with ridged spine and formed with a sharp triangular tip. Curved hilt with silver collar and pommel. Wood scabbard with decorated silver mounts and bead work bands. Handle and scabbard are highly polished wood with good age patina.
Blade 21 inches (54 cm). Total length 34 inches (86 cm). Handle 12 inches (31 cm). This length of the handle allows a firm two handed grip. Total length 33 inches. Complete and in very good condition. Good age patina on the wood and on the silver parts. Early 20 C.
