This very good “PIHA KAHETTA” knife is the traditional knife of the Sinhalese from Sri-Lanka (Ceylon). An old classical examples with a single edged heavy down curving fullered blade with brass bolsters. The grips are beautifully carved from ivory with good age patina, set with chiseled and chased silver pommel cover.
Blade 8 inches. Total length is 11 inches. Very good condition. No scabbardA fine piece in very good condition.
