Very Good Burmese Two Handed Dah Sword
Origin: Mianmar (Burma)
Date: Early 20C.












Classical Burmese Dah Sword, with a slightly up-curving heavy blade with ridged spine. The blade is entirely engraved with small semi-circles and dots design. The long two handed handle is covered with rye skin and mounted with long white metal pierced mounts. Wood scabbard with brass bands.
Blade 25 inches. Handle 9 inches. This length of the handle allows a firm two handed grip. Total length 33 inches. Complete and in very good condition.
