Silver handle and scabbard chiseled with thick floral gilded design and decorated with the Turkish symbols of gilded moons and stars. Both the handle and the scabbard are set with many Ruby stones, with a larger turquoise stone at the top of the pommel.

This kard comes with an old, damaged label indicating it is coming from Lionel Bonham, the fourth Baronet of the Bonham family from Wiltshire. All family heads were serving in the Diplomatic and military services of the United Kingdom, and most probably this kard was collected by one of the earlier family members while he was servicing abroad.
