Very Fine large Size Joulba Jambiya

The so called Joulba Jambiya daggers are coming from the Tihama region in Western Yemen, on the shores of the red sea. The influence of the long daggers from Asir and Gizan to the North, Partially in Saudi Arabia, is clearly seen in the long and less curved Joulba Jambiya daggers.

The Joulba dagger offered here is exceptionally long, 26inches, compared to 12-15 inches in the more common ones. Very fine whole silver handle and scabbard exhibiting outstanding filigree work. Original back cover leather. Very good plus condition. An exceptional long Jambiya
