Sword / Dagger from the Filipino Revolution

This Filipino dagger is from the period of the Philippines revolution (The American Philippines war 1899-1901). Probably from Luzon. Also known as “insurrecto” dagger. largely influenced by the long Spanish occupation.
This exemplar is of outstanding blade construction. very massive, deeply beveled, 16 inches long and 7/16 inches (11 mm) thick. Very finely forged and engraved with floral design. Water Buffalo horn grip bound with spiral twisted silver wire and silver mounts.
Very good condition. Blade with nice un touched age patina. No scabbard.
