This huge sickle shaped sword is of the Benge people, Zair, Africa. Giant blade 29 inches long very well forged and nicely sharpened, with a central rib on one face and punched decoration in geometrical design on the other face. Simple wood handle. Total length 33 inches. Very good condition. Early 20C.
