Large and Impressive Bali Kris Sword

Kris from Bali, or may be Lombok, of larger dimensions than usual. With a massive well forged blade with a central rib, hollow ground cross section and slightly thickened tip. Black horn Gerantiman style handle with partially checkered style of decoration. Brass mendak and pommel. handle.  Original scabbard with finely chased brass cover on the front face and chased brass bands on the rear face.

Blade 20- 1/2 inches long ( 52 cm ). Total length 27 1/2 inches (70 cm) . Very good condition. Slight dents and small losses on the Mendak/ Good , authentic early 20 C. Kris sword.
