Fine Stiletto Style Dagger

A very fine and well made dagger, stiletto style. Continental, probably Italian. Mid 19 C.

A well made blade of flat diamond cross section, finely fullered and pierced. The top of the blade is very nicely engraved. Ebony grip set with twisted steel wires and small steel inserts. Very decorative chiseled steel collar,  cross guard and pommel cap.  Whole steel scabbard also chiseled en suite with the cross guard.

Blade 6 inches. Total length11 inches. very good plus condition.
