Georgian made Kindjal daggers were traded all over. Specifically to Russia.

The kindjal offered here is a typical example. Fine narrow blade  with three fullers and fine etching decoration. The blade is signed M OMAROV (???) . The grips are made from walrus ivory (Front) and water buffalo (rear), silver grip strap and nielloed silver mounts. Wood scabbard with leather cover and  with nicely nielloed  mounts. The Silver locket is dated to 1911. All mounts are silver proofed.

Blade length 13 1/2 inches (34 cm). Total length in scabbard 18 1/2 inches (47 cm). Very good condition. The leather cover is a later replacement.
