Classical Burmese Dah Sword, with a slightly up-curving heavy blade. The blade is entirely inlaid with silver and copper floral design koftgari decoration, on blackened background onboth faces of the blade and on the spine as well. The long silver handle is decorated en-suite, dancing human figures in silver and copper on blackened background.
Blade 24 1/2 inches. Handle 9 1/2 inches. This length of the handle allows a firm two handed grip. Very good condition. Minor dents on the handle. This sword comes with a later made scabbard, Not shown. Fine sword of quality.
