Fine and Very Rare Mail Based Breast Plate and Arm

Ring armor (Mail) is mostly used as mail shirts in full or partial sets. It is rarely used in arms guards and breast plates as in this exceptional set
From India, mid 18C. or earlier. Parts of armor set including pair of Bazu Bands and Breast plate. All unusually made of chain mail in steel frames and mail rings for the palms. All riveted steel rings and rows of rings with double piercing. The steel frames are decorated with gold koftgari work.
Arm guards are 20 inches long (fully stretched) The breast plates parts are 25 X 11 inches. Very good condition to age. Some losses to the rings. Back plate of the breast armor is missing.
A rare set. Never seen a similar set before.
