Date: Late 19C. - Early 20C.

Powder flasks were always important part in the accessories set of firearms. When it comes to fine sets, the flasks were decorated en-suite with the gun, and carried together.

The flask shown here is Caucasian or Persian with a classical shape of Persian flasks. A shape which is very popular in all the middle east and around. Hard wood based set with very many brass nails and decorated with Mother of Pearls and bone inserts in brass frames. The brass mechanism to open the flask mouth is in full working condition.

Length 7 1/2 inches (19cm). Very good condition. Authentic and rare flask, late 19C. – Early 20 C.  .
