Not really a weapon and not old but an excellent example for the cutlery and blade industry from Jezzine, Lebanon.
The Village of Jezzine situated in South Lebanon is renowned for the blades and cutlery craftsmanship since the 18 C. Most familiar are the blades with buffalo horn handles shaped like a bird, sometime referred to the Phoenix, set with bone brass and colored inserts. The cutlery set offered here includes a large serrated blade and small knife and tea spoon. The blade of the knife is etched in Arabic: خبزنا كفافنا اعطنا اليوم : Work of Said and Haddad “Give us day by day our daily bread” (Luke 11:3) Jezzine, Lebanon.
