This very fine sword is coming from Eastern Sumbawa. Blade with straight ridged spine, very slightly widening with a down curving spine toward the tip. The blade is very well forged from pattern welded pamor steel. The grip is Buffalo horn with the pommel shaped like a Grotesque bird head with a massive beak. Highly polished black wood scabbard bound with steel bands and mounted with two copper loops for hanging belt.
Blade 18 inches (46 cm). Total length 25 inches (65 cm). Very good plus condition.
