Sabiki dagger from Asir and Jizan region, Yemen / Saudi Arabia

Asir and Jizan region, is shared by Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Hence blades from this region share styled from both. The long dagger offered here is an interesting combination of a silver mounted Jambiya  dagger decorated in a Yemeni style with long and heavy Sabiki style blade.

Heavy double edge blade with a massive central rib, decorated with engraved six point stars (Star of David) and Arabic inscription ملبوس الهنا )Wear you with pleasure). Whole silver richly chased handle and scabbard. Original leather back cover.  

Blade length 11 inches (28 cm). Total length 18 inches (48 cm). Very good condition. Authentic original Arab dagger
