Combination Sword with Double Barrel Flintlock Pistol

A Rare 19 C. Indian long sword with a double smooth barrel pistol operated with a European made flintlock mechanism.  The long blade is very well forged, most probably from laminated steel, single edged with a short back edge and double fuller along the entire spine.

The barrels are mounted on  both sides of the blade extending from the grip.  The single lock fire both barrels simultaneously.  I grip with a long steel collar. Steel D guard and steel covers on both barrels to protect the hand from the fire sparks.

Original wood scabbard with original fabric cover and pierced silver tip.  The scabbard comes with a short wooden ramrod in a special compartment

Blade 32 inches )82 cm) , total length 39 inches (99cm), barrels 5 inches (12.5 cm) each. Very good condition. Rare and interesting.
