Very Good Kattar Dagger, Lucknow, India

Very good Early 19 C.  Kattar dagger with heavy blade probably forged from watered steel. Thickened tip to allow armor piercing. The blade is artfully chiseled with a floral pattern on both faces.

This Kattar comes with an old worn label indicating the origin as Locknow.  Other details on the label are illegible.

Blade 7 inches long. Total length 13 inches. Very good plus condition. No scabbard
