Islamic Art
Alongside its arms and armour, Oriental Arms offers a small selection of Islamic decorative art: silver and copper-inlaid brass trays and dishes from Syria in the Mamluk Revival (Damascus ware) style, often bearing Arabic inscriptions or narrative scenes, alongside rarer pieces such as a traditional Yemenite Jewish bridal headdress (karkush).
These pieces reflect the same regional metalworking traditions found in the weapons collection, applied here to objects of daily and ceremonial life rather than combat.
