Very Fine and Large Georgian Drinking Horn - 14564
Not exactly a weapon but a very fine example of Georgian decorative arts. This drinking horn is late 19C. very large in size 32 inches long (compared to the 10-12 inches long of the more common ones). It is mounted with fine silver top and silver finial in the shape of a bird head with a very long beak, set with turquoise stones for the eyes. All silver parts are very finely nielloed. Very good condition. Solder repair on the beak.
