Very Good Early Moro Kris Sword - 14324
This early kris sword is mid 19 C. Wavy blade 19 inches long of laminated steel. Wood grip bound with braided twisted silver wires. Ivory Cockatoo shaped pommel. Silver Baka – Baka securing strips. Total length 23 ½ inches. Very good condition. Small losses to the silver binding of the grip. No scabbard. This item (without the scabbard) is coming from the John Woodman Higgins Armory Collection and was donated to the collection by the descendant of Brigadier General W.H. Sage.
