Very Good Khanjar / Jambiya from South Iraq - 14158 - New
A very good typical Jambiya dagger from Iraq, most probably from the South. Late 19C. The sharply curved blade is 9 inches long, with a central rib. The hilt is carved from a solid piece of water Buffalo horn with a flared pommel. The scabbard is chased silver set with turquoise stone (many missing). Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents to the silver.
