Fine Jambiya Dagger, Morocco - 0664
A classical Jambiya from Morocco (locally called Koumaya). Its shape is derived from a very interesting mix of Arab Jambiya dagger and Hispano-Moorish style of daggers. These Jambiya daggers are carried with a baldric over the right shoulder. This specific one is has a big hilt cut from a solid piece of Rhino horn. The fittings and scabbard are chased silver. The quality of the blade in this specific one is better than the usual poor blade of similar pieces.
